These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Syon Event Management Portal, including our website, applications, APIs, and any related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

1. Definitions

Account” means your user profile created to access the Services.
Organizer” means any User who creates or manages events.
Attendee” means any User who registers for or participates in events.
Content” means all data, text, images, video, audio, or other materials you upload, post, or transmit through the Services.

2. Applicability

2.1 These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Services.
2.2 “Organizers” refer to those who set up and host events using our platform.
2.3 “Attendees” refer to those who register for and participate in events.

3. Acceptance of Terms

3.1 You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
3.2 By creating an Account or using the Services, you represent that you have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
4.2 You are responsible for all activities under your Account and must safeguard your credentials.
4.3 We may suspend or terminate Accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Permitted and Prohibited Uses

5.1 You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
5.2 You will not:

  • Misuse the Services, including reverse-engineering or data scraping.

  • Upload any harmful or unlawful content (e.g., malware, phishing).

  • Violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.

6. Organizer Obligations

6.1 Organizers set ticketing terms, pricing, and refund policies.
6.2 You grant SyonGo a non-exclusive license to host and display your Content to provide the Services.
6.3 Organizers must comply with applicable venue, health, safety, and data-protection regulations.

7. Attendee Obligations

7.1 By registering, Attendees consent to sharing registration data with the Organizer and SyonGo.
7.2 Attendees must adhere to event codes of conduct; failure may result in removal without refund.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 You retain ownership of your Content. You grant SyonGo a license to use, reproduce, and display it to deliver the Services.
8.2 All other intellectual property in the Services (software, website, documentation) is owned by SyonGo or its licensors.

9. Privacy and Data Security

9.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information; it is incorporated into these Terms.
9.2 We implement industry-standard measures (encryption, access controls) to protect data.
9.3 Data is retained for the Subscription Term plus 12 months, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
10.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyonGo’s total liability under these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
10.3 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, data, goodwill).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SyonGo and its affiliates harmless from any claims arising from your violation of these Terms, your events or Content, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Suspension and Termination

12.1 We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or legal risk.
12.2 On termination, your license to use the Services ends immediately. Sections 8–12, and other provisions that by their nature survive, will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
13.2 Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in Bengaluru. Class or representative actions are not permitted.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms by posting updated versions. Material changes take effect 30 days after posting. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
